1. Full Product Overview
RH102AY is a dedicated redundant adapter terminal base developed for Foxboro I/A Series DCS redundant FBM fieldbus modules, which is used in pairs with dual redundant analog/discrete FBM modules to realize complete hardware hot backup of I/O subsystem.
It integrates dual independent signal wiring circuits, isolation filter circuits and redundant bus switching logic. When the primary FBM module fails, RH102AY automatically switches all field signal loops to the standby FBM within microseconds without interrupting field control signals, realizing bumpless redundant switching.
The base adopts standard drawer DIN rail installation, supports online hot swap of single FBM module without cutting off field wiring or power supply, greatly reducing equipment maintenance downtime. Built-in multi-channel signal isolation suppresses industrial EMI interference from motors and inverters to avoid cross-channel signal crosstalk.
It is fully compatible with all redundant FBM series including FBM216 HART AI, FBM218 HART AO, FBM241 mixed DI/DO, widely deployed in chemical, power, oil & gas continuous process production lines requiring high system availability.
